A Message about COVID-19
I have missed you all during this past week and I hope you are safe and healthy at home. I know as the COVID-19 situation has escalated, fear, anxiety, and disappointment may be rising. I wanted to reach out and let you know that I am thinking of you and praying for you constantly even though we are apart from our class, which I know for me, has grown into a family over the years. Times like these are uncertain, but always an opportunity to put our faith into practice - when you feel like you're gonna snap, choose compassion, choose prayer, choose love. Do not be afraid, but be examples to those who look up to you. I want to remind you of the message from Joshua 1:9. "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
That said, if you are feeling afraid, don't hesitate to reach out to friends, family, or even email me. Personally, I've been continually encouraged by the growing connections amongst my own communities and that will only get stronger as long as we stay positive. But if you just want to be alone to unwind, here is a Spotify playlist I made titled, "Be Not Afraid."
As you've probably heard people say over and over, we will get through this together!
